Taiji and Qigong
Qigong
"Qigong" means Energy work and skill acquired over time. Most of us have heard how beneficial exercise is for us, Qigong is exercise that strengthens the body and calms the mind. Many qigong methods are similar to Western physical therapy movements, but with added emphasis on breath and mindfulness of movement.
Tai Chi
Tai Chi Chuan (Taiji) is a martial art developed in the 1500's and is qigong in its own right. Tai Chi is well known and studied for it abilities to promote physical and mental health.
